2. Information We Collect
Information You Provide
When you submit a Request a Quote, we collect the information needed to understand and respond to your enquiry. Required information includes your name, company, email address, country or region, product or application, and estimated quantity.
You may also provide packaging type, dimensions, material preferences, printing and finishing requirements, artwork status, target timeline, and additional project information.
Our RFQ form does not currently include a file-upload field.
When you contact us by email, WhatsApp or WeChat, we receive the contact information and message content that you choose to provide.
Please do not send passwords, payment-card details, identity documents or other sensitive personal information that is not necessary for your packaging enquiry.
Technical Information
When a quotation request is submitted, our website may record technical information associated with the submission, including an IP address, browser and operating-system category, source page, submission time, form and submission identifiers, and related validation information.
The hosting infrastructure may also provide country-level information associated with a request.
3. How We Use Your Information
We use enquiry information to:
- understand your packaging requirements;
- assess projects and prepare quotations;
- answer questions and communicate about your enquiry;
- manage business correspondence and project follow-up; and
- protect our website and forms against invalid or automated submissions.
We do not provide customer contact details to partner factories or other external parties for their own business or marketing purposes.
We do not use contact information submitted through our RFQ form for bulk promotional email campaigns.
4. Website Hosting and Service Providers
Our website is hosted using services provided by HOSTINGER PTE LTD.
Our current website server is located in Germany, and Hostinger hosting backup copies are stored in France. Information submitted through the website may therefore be stored and processed in those locations.
We use Alibaba business email services to receive website enquiry notifications and conduct subsequent business email correspondence.
When you choose to contact us through WhatsApp or WeChat, the relevant platform also processes the information you provide through that service under its own privacy terms.
Service providers process information only in connection with the services through which our website and business communications operate.
5. Email Notifications and Logs
Website quotation submissions generate email notifications for our business team. The email address submitted through the RFQ form is used as the Reply-To address so that we can respond to your enquiry.
Our website may also generate internal administrative summaries of form submissions.
Website email-delivery logs may contain email addresses, subject lines, message content, email headers, timestamps, delivery status and error information.
These website email-delivery logs are currently configured for 14-day retention and are subject to a scheduled cleanup process.
The 14-day period applies only to these website email-delivery logs. It does not apply to RFQ records, normal business email correspondence or backup copies.
6. How Long We Keep Information
We retain RFQ records and business correspondence for ongoing business reference, project follow-up and related business purposes.
We do not currently apply a fixed routine deletion period to these enquiry records and business emails.
Different technical records may have different retention arrangements. Website email-delivery logs are configured for 14-day retention as described above.
Backup copies may contain information that existed in the website database when a backup was created and may remain until the relevant backup is replaced or otherwise removed.
Where applicable law requires information to be deleted or retained for a particular period, we will handle the information in accordance with those requirements.
7. International Processing
Ginperain Packaging is operated from China, while parts of the infrastructure used to operate the website are located outside China.
Website enquiry information may be transmitted to and stored on hosting infrastructure in Germany, with hosting backups stored in France. Business email communications are handled separately through our business email service provider.
Where applicable data protection laws impose requirements on international processing or transfers of personal information, we will handle such processing in accordance with those requirements.
8. Cookies and Similar Technologies
Our website may use cookies or similar browser technologies where necessary for website functionality, security or visitor interactions.
We do not use information submitted through our RFQ form for advertising profiling.
